Solana Worldxyz plan might be just another prediction market site

Solana Worldxyz mystery now points toward prediction markets after public API data showed live-style market infrastructure for BTC and World Cup outcomes.

Mysterious Solana-linked project World.xyz might be yet another prediction market platform, based on public API data reviewed by The Coinformer.

The project has drawn attention after data miners noticed that the team behind the project bought the world.xyz domain for $80,000, while its Google preview showed the phrase "Trade Everything."

  • That wording left the community guessing whether World.xyz was building a Solana-based trading venue, a perpetual futures market or something closer to Polymarket.

Data points to prediction markets

The Coinformer reviewed the public OpenAPI file behind api.world.xyz and found that World.xyz appears to be a Solana-native prediction market platform.

The file describes the service as a "markets-api" for "native prediction markets." It also lists infrastructure for markets, events, series, trades, candlesticks, price history, order books and live quotes.

  • The public endpoints also show actual market categories, including "BTC Up or Down - 15 Minutes," "World Cup 2026 — Match Result" and "World Cup 2026 — Tournament Winner."
  • The markets endpoint goes further, showing binary markets such as "Does Argentina win the World Cup 2026?" with YES and NO prices, volume, open interest and separate Solana token mint addresses for each outcome.

DFlow adds another clue

The Coinformer also found a direct DFlow clue inside World.xyz's own API file. In the security section, the file says an API key is required and tells users to contact [hello@dflow.net] to obtain one.

That ties DFlow, a Solana trading infrastructure company, to the World.xyz backend more directly than outside speculation, though it still doesn't prove DFlow owns World.xyz or say what DFlow's exact role is.

The Coinformer also found that Phantom, the crypto wallet initially focused on Solana only, names World in its prediction market disclosures.

The page says prediction markets positions opened on or after June 1 are powered by World Prediction Markets, with the "World Prediction Markets" text linking directly to docs.world.xyz.

  • As of press time, the World.xyz team hasn't publicly confirmed the product, announced a launch date, named the team or disclosed an official token.
